I have done some searching on the net, as I understand that the receiver can be updated with never software/firmware. Since this is a brilliant amp and I never really care for HDMI in any case, I will be using this amp for a while to come. I however would love to update the DSP modes as might be available (and from the available data is is possible). I have send the Onkyo guys in SA a note via their website (Audiotronic via the Onkyo website) but have not received any reply from them.
Any perhaps have updated the DSP modes on theyr receiver, and any idea who I can contact to do this for me, else I should look at importing the cable and CD, but Onkyo did not reply yet back to me on that option.
Any advice.
