At the risk of setting off a ferocious round of banter, here's another Linn LP12 thread....
I have just acquired one of the original models (thanks Francois) and I am enjoying listening to my vinyls on it. Now I start thinking - what is the logical upgrade path? And is there a point that I should not pass? I have heard that at a certain point the "Linn sound" is lost.
Current spec is standard, no valhalla, looks like a chipboard plinth, SME 3009. So where to from here? And costs per step if possible?
