Valve amplification?

Having recently bought a set of B&W CM9s, I am considering upgrading my amplification in the not too distant future. Looking to go just stereo under a budget that is not endless.  :vsad:

Is it worth considering a valve amplifier or just some proper power amplification?  :thinking:
