My friend Werner Truter asked me to post his comments and feedback with regard to his new Valve Audio Predator amp here on the forum as he is not yet a forum member and really wants to share his experience.
Werner`s comments, as he has emailed it to me, are as follows:

"3 Years ago I summoned support for local hi-fi products, in a letter to the forum, published in the mag, in April of 2007. This is basically a follow-up.
In 2002 I acquired my 1st VA product, an Exclame 80. I was fortunate enough to pick up a Predator (also 2nd hand) a few years later, and so started a happy 'marriage'.
In between I had a brief affair with another well-known hybrid, flirted with a very well known digital pre-power combo and even had a one-nite stand with a prestigious pre-power valve combo.
Fact is, the friend who brought this couple over to my house, was himself rather surprised and dismayed that this powerful and expensive combo couldn't make my spkrs sing like my beloved Predator!
So, last year when I mentioned to the same friend that I'm parting with my Predator, he didn't even blink when asking: "So when are you getting the new one?"
And that is exactly what happened a few weeks ago, by the Grace of the Good Lord (and VA, I mite add!), I've been able to afford my own brand new 250W Personal Predator!
The comparisons above were done against the 2003 Predator. The 2009/10 model offers a very audible step-up in refinement and class, so my ears won't even consider wanderlust again!
I can only reiterate what many of our AVSA audiophile compatriots seem to be discovering : If you're open-minded(eared ) enough,and in the fortunate position to upgrade(or just flirt),you will be not only surprised,but IMPRESSED by the quality workmanship and BACK-UP with integrity, offered by local marquees such as VA. Damn, the amps are very favourably reviewed by US and Canadian reviewers, as well as many happy owners IN THE US!!!
So,well done Schalk - YOU ROCK!"
