A friend is busy repairing/restoring a 4mHz Telequipment? model S51 valve oscilloscope. One of the valves (an ECC88) is kaput.
He found another twin triode valve 12AT7 and would like to know if this can be used as a replacement for the ECC88.
I have the data sheets for both the ECC88 and the proposed replacement valve but know too little anbout valves to give him the correct answer.
Can anyone please advise or recommend a solution?
