Busy with a service and renovation of a vintage bench grinder. I already have someone who will do testing on the windings to see if they are still good.
My concern is with the startup cap I found. It reads 2Uf and 600VDC. It seems to be original as it is in a big metal square box. Does it not sound a bit too small?
I am still learning about uF sizes and stuff but feel as if the 2uF is a bit small for starting this beast.
Anyone with experience willing to educate me a bit more?
