While I would not want to debate whether the Beatles sound better in mono or stereo - pick your horse and flog it / go with what you prefer - would you really pay R1,300 for a second-hand mono pressing of Revolver (currently on Gumtree) when you can get a brand-new, 180g copy from Musica (no affiliation) for R109 (which I paid 2 moths ago, but I think the price has gone up slightly)?
And if you would - is that because you are a collector (nothing wrong with that), or really because you just love music, and think that one sounds better?
PS. In either format, I think Revolver is a brilliant album!
