Recently purchased 2 Vinyl records [Ben Howard / Every Kingdom].
Like to buy a backup if a good pressing.
Disgustingly though it was delivered by courier in a plastic bag? Fairly recent orders of CD media would be packed better, ie. in a hard cardboard envelope.
Called call center to complain and to note my complaint. Took no notice of it, and I asked if I would receive a callback. No, I should put complaint on Facebook.
Sent 2 mails to customer service and no response.
Got a response today that I will receive a R 50 voucher (which I did not get yet) and that I could send the records back. No mention if this will happen again had to ask again, no response yet.
There was a label on the packet to this extend, if one is not happy with parcel....
It was my birthday, and having no guarantee that the same would happen if sent back and wanting what I paid for, I took delivery.
Any similar experiences? Surely you do not want a warped record and extra paper fluff from it bouncing around in the sleeve?
The 1st record however does not sound very good or clean.
