I've been toying with the idea of having a vinyl swop meet. I was sitting going through all the records I have bought this year, many of which came with things I know I wont listen to and I began to make a pile of stuff that wont be getting play time anytime. While I was doing this I began to think about a swop meet.
The basic idea would be to bring a box of records you would be looking to trade to a gathering and trade with others. Hopefully you would be able to trade some records you would never listen to for something that you might.
If there is some interest I would be happy to organize something (which includes beer) in the next couple of months.
