Just for a bit of info..
There has been a lot said, written, gossiped etc about the amazing Vivids and rightly so..they are amazing. Having had the privilege of ownership of the 1.5's , B1's and now the K1's, I can truly say that they are one of the best speakers out there..
BUT..and here is why I am writing this.. the Focals are not very well known and particularly the Diablo's..( I think only about maybe 3-4 pairs in the country)
Well in my room with my current setup , the Focals came out tops..( maybe with different setup, amps etc it could change)
To me , and this is just me the Focal Diablo is the best speaker I have owned - an incredible achievement for a stand mount!
Amp is Plinius SA50Mk3, Pre- Bat VK 50SE , Source - ML 37 transport, ML 360s DAC.
