In March I had a lightning strike and my processor.l was replaced with an atmos processor but I have been to busy to set it up. My room was purpose build and prepared for 7.1.4. On Sunday I installed in ceilings but for now I can only run 7.1.2 because I need another power amp to go 7.1.4.
I watched 1 atmos movie (Shazam) and a few atmos trailers and I am impressed with how the sound gives a complete 3D effect. I watched the trailer of the Transformers and the atmos effects is so good. Atmos is a nice upgrade from 7.1 but I think the biggest improvement in surround sound was the evolution from Dolby Prologic to Dolby Digital but Atmos is also very impressive
