Today I aquired a box of Wharfedale Modus Satellite Speakers - Line Speakers actually as the outside have Marking:

  • 2.5 Watt
  • 5 Watt
  • 10 Watt
Inside is a transformer, also what looks like a crossover but I am dumb with these as I have never researched them or even read about commercial sound distribution and amplifiers.
So, I googled the driver inside marked 103.771 Manufactured in 2008/07 Cambridge England.

What would a good use of these be and would one be able to build a pair of multi driver speakers for stereo use or just remove the transformer/caps and use as surround speakers?

Please share your knowledge and advice.
Disconnected one driver from the electronics, played it on an amp - open baffle and was rather good.
