Boy, what a day...

Got to the office (which is my parents home) this morning, finding the entire home had no electricity. The power must have tripped sometime over the weekend. Normally my NAS warns me of power outages, unfortunately I had to move the 3G router to a place that didn't have a backup, so I never received the warning. Luckily frozen food were still quite frozen, but unfortunately the fridge (with a choice selection of french cheeses in it) wasn't so lucky. Boy what a smell...
I am still trying to source the trace of what is causing the CB to trip. Its not instantaneous, as it takes some time before it decides to trip. I have traced it to a section of plugs. Trying to figure out what is connected to the plugs is a bit of a mystery. Unfortunately my office with the computers fall into that section.

Next thing a message pops in from the company that has my retirement annuity pops in, telling me to go screw myself for a 6 months payment that I applied for last week, since my financial advisor coaxed me into raising it just about 4 months ago, so I have to wait 8 months before I can apply for a holiday. Threatening to stop my annuity results in an immediate 25% penalty in my fund value. Lowering it, results in an immediate penalty. Its a game where you can only loose, kind of like life insurance. I wish I knew how bad annuities were, before I got myself into that crap. Never again!

Tired, I pack up @ 16:00 and drive home. Open the garage door, drive through the door, try closing the door... *screetz, screetz, whack, boom* the door jams. Next thing, I did the idiotic thing by raising the door and then manually try lowering it. No tension on the door... *whiiiirrrrrrrrr* *BANG!* The entire rail assembly looks like a road thats just been hit by an earthquake. The door is almost shut, but hanging precariously at an angle... Waiting for the handyman, hopefully I'll get the car out of the garage, else I'm working from home tomorrow...

Now where is that ##### whisky!
