I have built up a purely stereo system consisting of the following:
Sota Moonbeam with Grado Green
NAD C352 amp
Rotel RC 1070 Pre amp (used as phono stage as NAD does'nt have)
NAD C542 CD player
Maverick Tube Magic DAC
MEDE8R MED250X
Mission MX5 speakers
Custom made interconnects from AudioArchitecs
Set up as follows, CD and Mede8r into tube magic dac, then dac into Nad amp, sounds fantastic with all music.
TT runs to Rotel pre amp for phono stage, then to Nad amp, not overly impressed with performance of that side of my system.
What is the weakest link in my vinyl set up, is it the cart, pre amp, or amp.
Would it be beter to run preamp to the Maverick Tube magic for the tube side of things? Replace cart?
Would really like to get the most out of my vinyl.
