So, while I understand that using an Android app to measure db levels is not hyper accurate, it surely gives a useful indication.
I work at a desk, and listen to either noise cancelling headphones or near-field bookshelves for extended periods (say 6-8h a day).
I'm quite happy to listen at very moderate levels, with the long term safety of my hearing in mind.
So far, the best seeming Android cellphone app I've found to measure db is: Sound Analyzer App - Apps on Google Play
However, as per below pic, there are a bunch of db measurement scales. Does anyone know the difference between them. And which is best suited to my use case?
