My question: What, where, when and how did you first decide (perhaps to your later regret!) to pursue a hobby/profession in audio? (I include relevant electronics if you are a d.i.y-er and got interested thataway.)
To start the ball rolling (but hopefully not to have to keep it moving): For me (not telling which year) it was that wonderfully complex device with vanes 'sliding' in and out of other vanes inside a radio - a 3-gang tuning capacitor. There was not much else which moved. That initiated, for better or worse - a career in electronics, later with special interest in audio (.... from the musical, not technical side if you please).
