I'm thinking of building an amp with the Hypex UCD3xMP http://www.hypex.nl/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=107&Itemid=107.
It incorporates a high quality class D amp with a switching power supply for only 70 Euro, but it looks like I'd still need to build a "buffer."

Forgive my ignorance - can anyone explain what a buffer is/does and how to put one together?
