I am seriously looking for lengths of the smaller type of tagstrip (for component mounting), popular a few decades ago. I will attach a picture soon, but to describe: It is a length of fibre strip with small tags at 7,5mm distance/pitch, total height about 10mm. Every third tag has a screw-down lug at the bottom and they come in lengths of 40 - 50cm. (NB: This is not a group board where components lie between two sets of terminals on a some 3cm wide board.)
I have contacted the 'usual suspects' viz. Communica, Mantech, Electronics 123, RS, Farnell, ECM. Import might be rather risky if one can find them as damage-withstanding packing would be a problem (other than placing them inside a sturdy tube). Googling does not show anything but my skills thataway might be limited. I would require some 12 - 20 lengths.
