I'm keen to build a pair of Kidnap monoblocks in to long slender cases, about the size of two bricks laid end-to-end.
The use of two smaller toroidal transformers per PSU and laying the PCB boards in line will allow a nice long narrow configuration.  Heat sink will be on the front and connections at the back.

I reckon that that those extruded aluminium sections as used in T-amps, phono-stages, head-amps etc will work nicely.
The following links will give an idea:

Is there anywhere in Cape Town that sell such a sections?  There could even be a product designed for windows or lighting that could be utilized.
