Help me out here.
I run an all solid state system. Transport/Dac/Pre and power.
Having heard a valve system(and being pushed by some friends), I would like to try them somewhere in my system.
I am debating either the pre(more leaning to that) or the power amp.
Which one would be better to try and where would it make more of a difference. I would like to try both separately and then make a call, but it may not be possible, hence the question asked of you guys in the know.
