Which Sounds Best Bluetooth or Airplay ?

AVR I  bought recently the HK 171 has provision for playing over Airplay or Bluetooth
getting a few drop outs with Airplay might be my internet connection. Bluetooth works well, but i've been wondering if the BT sounds clearer
than the A/P might be just my imagination. Has anyone else found a difference in sound between the 2 ?
