We bought this washing machine new in +-1993, and the waterpump seems to now have developed a leak whilst the washer is filling up.
The local appliance repair charges R1765.00 (2 x equal diameter pump inlet/outlet) or R1150.00 (2 x unequal diameter pump inlet/outlet)
depending whichever is present in the washing machine, for the pump only.
Are these prices realistic, as other washing machine water pumps can be had new for around R400? - :nfi:
