A relative of mine who lives in Capetown has a stately old HMV valve radio, wireless as they were known back in the day, which he has owned for many years and used to use often. Still in decent cosmetic condition but hasn't worked for a few years now. Worn valves are suspected but he wants it looked at and would love to have it brought back to good working order.
Anyone you guys can recommend in Capetown that can repair these things, the owner is in Claremont surrounds, thats if my geography serves me correctly but I'm sure he won't mind taking a drive to get it repaired. This is some pics of it and one of the valves that it uses:
