Who is/are your favourite music producer(s) and why?

Thought I would start something here to see if I can expand my musical horizons even more!

I listen to a vast genre of music but my first love is rock. I have two favourite producers, Bob Rock and Rick Rubin. There's something about the tight, structured approach that they take to producing music that just seems to hit all the right spots with me. Some of my favourite albums of all time have either been produced or co-produced by them.

So who do you like and why? Doesn't matter what genre or from which era, I'm just keen to read your views and learn a bit more about other producers and in the process maybe even find some new music to listen to!
