Hi all...

Maybe a bit of a controversial topic for some... but I am so over/against "sitting" in a chair / area a certain distance away with a specific angle in order to listen to music...

I was actually thinking I am going to move my system behind the dining room set in order to force me away from this bad habit....

I like music to play while I'm all about or even while we having a chat in the lounge instead of starring at a system and thinking you must use a specific area to listen ( very boring for me)....

The thinking struck me earlier while we were having Xmas lunch at the dinning room table and I had some CD's spinning just loud enough to hear and listen but still to have a decent conversation around the table etc... and sometimes someone be just randomly singing along with favourite tunes etc....

Times like these is when I enjoy the system most , but obviously you cannot sit and rate it from there as it has to cross various furniture to reach you etc( so clearly far away from the sweetest spot so to speak)....
Call it anti critical listening

So I was wondering who finds more enjoyment from their systems / music in such less then ideal conditions and hate the boredom of sitting in single file trying to imagine artists in their rooms etc ? Or how often do you just play and don't think about it or vise versa ?
