I bought my set yesterday - my first 3D set - and although I know it's a gimmick, thought I'd give it a go.
I downloaded 3D Avatar onto my HP Microserver / GT210 GFX card, through my old Rotel 1069 processor and finally to my TV. I figures there'd be some issues along the way but nothing! The old processor passed it through to the TV and everything was 100%.
Why then do you need a 3D capable receiver ?
I thought without HDMI 1.4, you were screwed when it came to 3D?
