Do you know how long it took for cars to ditch the cassette. When AVRs were going 5.1digital, cars still sold with cassette players, I still have a car which came factory fitted with this dinotech (ripped it out and stuck a DVD player later).
Today, AVRs are going 4K, and "Smart" cars come with CD players, seriously. Not a DVD player as standard, the best you can get is a radio with MP3 playback. Forget AAC, or FLAC, and stream :facepalm: forget it, not even next year, or the year after.
