Why does a higher uF speaker output caps improve the bass?

On a Leak amp I'm fixing, original caps 1100uF/30v, on advice from the net I've replaced them with 2200uF/63v and the bass is better, bit fuller I guess.

Can someone explain like I'm 5 why this would be the case please?
