Very broad question. I have a 7.1 Boston classic series system. On occasion the subwoofer sometimes emits a humming noise. Once I disconnect the cable from the sub, but leave the power on, the humming stops. And then reconnect and everything is fine.
It might be the cable but this only happens on occasion, so want to consider any other possibilities before swopping out the cable.
