The CDS3000 and CDS2100 allow one to change the "clock DAc" timing I think from highest sound quality (most sensetive) to least.
Why is this as these players seem very sensitive and prone to skipping.
The CDS1000 which uses Burr Brown doesn't allow this.
The CDS3000 has the ESS 9018 and the CDS2100 the ESS 9016.
Which other CDP's allow this and really - whats the point, why is it just not set standard at the factory. And what does changing these settings actually do - simple language please.
