Morning everyone. I recently got myself a router to get wifi in my home. When I connected my phone for the first time I realized just how many people also have wifi in my area, I live in a complex. So it will be easy for someone looking to see my wifi.
Then I've heard somewhere that it is extremely easy for someone who know, how to crack that once off password you need to put in when connecting the first time.
I am not worried if someone steals a bit of my bandwidth. I am more concerned about hackers who want to do more than just steal some bandwidth.
Is a wifi connection by nature more vulnerable from hackers than say a normal wireless connection?
What can I do to step up security? I do not want anyone to browse my pc, seeing my personal stuff like my budget etc.
