Hello all, I'm hoping someone will jump in here to provide some info and advice.
I have a friend, thats looking after his mother. She is very sick often needing ot go to the hospital twice a month. Her will states that the property be sold and the money split between him and his sister (when she passes on). Hiss sister has taken out a second bond on the property, obviously with his mothers consent so she could also help look after there mother. No the problem is this, neither of them have a place to stay once the property gets sold. Is there a way that they could keep the property without having to buy it? He has told me that he got his mother to draw up a new will stating that the property be split between the 2 of them. But what happens to the bond?
Please advise, this guy (a fellow forum member) is a really good chap, going through a really tough time at the moment.
