My old D70 is still going strong but the lettering on the mode dial has been wearing off.
I found a broken D70 on Gumtree for R300 and collected while doing the Argus over the weekend.
The flash and the card reader were not working and the idea was to use the broken one for spares. Well, I managed to get it going 100% so I'm still short on the dial button.
Nikon SA say they do not support the D70 anymore, nor were they helpful in trying offer suggestions.
She ignored my comment when I asked if I should rather invest in Canon from now on
Would it be possible for a screenprinter to copy the good button and print on the worn one? Colour is not an issue. Or can you suggest any alternatives. (New cameras are not an option )
