I've heard that when one upgrades using the free offer (from Win 7, 8) to Win 10, that the "free" version results in copious bombardment of advertising, whereas if one had to purchase the Licenced version for around R1400 - there's no such issue.
Is this true ?

Any idea when the new laptops will be shipped with Win 10 as I still see a number being sold with Win 8 or 7.
