Is my only option spending money on lawyers, or the long drawn out process of the ombudsman (I've gone this route before on a vehicle claim)?
I've had a claim on going since Feb 2012 - it again become a problem in May 2013 this year, the job was finally completed end August 2013 - not a week after and the problem was back, and as of today I am back in the same situation I was in May 2013, May 2012, and Feb 2012.
The companies used are shocking, they don't stick to appointments, the plumber used was not registered, and they can't issue a certificate of compliance for the work done. I now have a suspicion they replaced the incorrect pipes.
Everything has been blamed, other leaks, the roof, the paint, etc. Its gotten to the point where I now barely get a response from the parties involved.
As last ditch attempt I've put a complaint on hellopeter, but don't expect anything to come of it, I've repeatedly been promised calls from managers, and call backs from consultants which never happen.
