Im about to put up a wooden deck to extend my patio. I have done some shopping around and have been exposed to different wood types and their pros and cons. A cost effective one for my application is treated pine which has been treated with copper chromium arsenic (CCA).
Upon a lot of researchinh it is stated that CCA is carcinogenic because of Arsenic. Everything out there including "HIFI" is carcinogenic but its about what the risk is. Is the re anyone out there with some knowledge on this because I wouldnt want to take the risk. Kids like to crawl and they leak their fingers and thats where most of my concern is.
