What does the OSH Act say about working at height, in instances like installing Broadband Dishes.
I had my ISP send two guys neither one of them had a harness and they were working on the dish that is more than roof height of our double story house.
Should one of them have taken a fall who would be responsible?
Are they required by law to have harnesses?
Most places and construction sites require a valid working at heights certificate before you can work generally part of the site induction.
What about the inspection of the ladders in question, the one that was being used by the guys that came to sort out our dish looks like it has seen better days.
In most cases where I was in charge I would not let anyone that looked like they weighed more than a 110 kg on a ladder.
