XBMC option to output video audio to HDMI and music to DAC ?
Hi all
I have been an longstanding XBMC/Ubuntu user using the system for movies and music, my current setup runs all audio and video out via HDMI directly into my TV, I then run the TV audio out to my stereo amp (no HDMI) ?. So it?s basically a poor man?s 3.1 setup. I want to invest in a better music setup and will be buying some new speakers and a DAC.
Do any of you guys know if I can configure XBMC to output audio via the HDMI for video and automatically switch to the DAC when playing music ? or even get it to output to both then I can use my amps channel select and TV volume to switch between my 3.1 hack and stereo..
Hope this make sense ?
