My DAC\pre has both single ended RCA outputs and balanced XLR outputs.
The gain is only adjustable on the XLR outputs though, not on the single ended outs....I need more gain since I play most of the music at nearly full volume on the DAC\pre
I need to make up a set of male XLR to RCA cables in order to connect the DAC to my single ended monoblocks.
Can anyone tell me which of the XLR pins to connect and what to do with the cable shielding?
I have some Siltech silver interconnect cable which I can use...
Do the following look correct and which method would be best?
On which side do I connect the braided shielding?
