I just returned from my brother-in-law's house to install his first HT system (Yamaha RXV365 with some Yamaha sub/sat speakers). Tried as I might, I couldn't get the HDMI to work. His DVD player outputs HDMI to the amp, and amp to LG LCD via HDMI - no audio or video.
When I installed mine, it was really plug and play, with no hassles. Any suggestions?
