Yamaha used to have a 5 channel, 6 channel, and 7 channel av receivers at affordable prices...Now they have 2 5 channel, a 6 channel network receiver and lots of 7 channels... Whats with 2 5 channels??? nobody wants to buy 5 channels anymore - the minimum they should have is one very affordable 6 channel (e.g. the rxv 459 which is now discontinued) and 2 7 channels one affordable and one high end. Onkyo dont have any 5 or 6 channels anymore - only 7 channels and up - now that makes sense?
remember i own the yamaha rxv 450 (been replaced by the 457, than the 459 i mentioned above).
