JMPD take 8+ hours to make in bribes what they used to do in 3 to 4 hours!

JMPD held regular road-blocks on the road behind our house before COVID-19. Usually between the last week of the month & the first week of the following month.
They used to spend 3 to 4 hours & then be on their way.
Doing nothing except checking license discs & drivers licenses. Roadworthy is a word they cannot spell. Blatant defects they are blind too.
I call it their "Shopping expedition" - nailing motorists for bribes whilst there is still money for the month available.
Fascinating watching how they profile certain drivers & pull them over.
I've been through one of these road blocks, and was asked for a bribe as my "license was finished" when I was still within the 21 days grace period.

Haven't seen them for a while now. For obvious reasons.

They were back today. Set up & operational by 07h00. That would normally mean gone for lunch at the local KFC by midday latest.

Except today they are only just packing up now at just after 15h00.

Can only mean that times are tough & it took them double the amount of time to make their lunch money in bribes.
