Not that I think any of you folks know "Five Finger Death Punch" (One of my Top 5 Metal bands ever). Accomplished Metal guitarist/Fighter-Pilot/Kung-Fu master/Top-notch graphic designer. Another very talented man gone...
Very Sad news. The "Original Knucklehead" our brother Sxully has passed away (from natural causes) last week.
He was a very special member of the 5FDP family. Many of you knew him, and some of you even had the pleasure to meet him, as he has been with us since day one.
Sxully appeared in the Bleeding and Never Enough Videos, he directed "The Way OF The Fist" video, and He designed the original Knucklehead skull. Him and I were sort of a Graphic Design Special Op. team creating all the merch, and every 5FDP album cover to date (with the exception of the last one) - so any "Death Punch" visuals you see anywhere... Sxully most likely had a hand in it... One of the most creative and coolest, and definitely the most laid back guy I met in my life. There is nobody I ever met who didn't love Sxully... he was just that guy... everybody's adopted brother.
Of course... Sxully is Sxully - He stayed in form 'til the end... He checked out in style, sitting in a chair with foot on the table smoking a cigar... and just like that... he closed his eyes and just 'left the building' ...shocking, and unexpected... but quiet and peaceful... as he was.
