A good friend called and said: "I am busy restoring my 1963 Mirror sailing dinghy, and I found these in a cupboard when I went looking for the rudder. My dad worked for the SABC - these were small studio monitor amps used by them. Are you interested?"

Well, does a bear...? :)

Beautiful, they are. EF86, ECF82 and 2 x EL34 each.

I can't wait to start restoring these, but, before then, does anyone here perhaps have a little more information on them? Interestingly, they were SS rectified, and power and other external connections were via Cannon 2-pin and 3-pin plugs.

Hoping to hear from someone.
