As most of SA slows down (I feel for those who are crazy busy during these times), I usually start to tack stock personally and professionally. The Festive season, Christmas for my family and me, is a time of having more headspace to look at my life and try to gain perspective. Often, it is a time to get closer to understanding what is important in my life and what should be my true north for the year ahead.

I get many festive greetings from businesses across the stuff I am involved with, just as many as I am sure you do. I value these and often feel guilty that I don't send cards as I did when I started many years ago. However, many of these wishes are just another "hallmark card", but this year, I got a message from a supplier that made me stop and think about many things - those referred to in the previous paragraph and I am taking the liberty to share this thoughtful message from Nobert Mundorf to his business network in the spirit of the Festive season. He captured my sentiment 100%.

Dear business partners,
dear music lovers

An eventful and moving year 2024 is coming to an end. The hoped-for relaxation after the Corona period did not come true. Today’s world often seems to be out of control. So I wish that all of us can use the Christmas season to pause, to regain strength and reflect on the essentials of live.

Christmas is a time of reflection

We are all connected to one another – as a human family that shares a common world and common origin. I hope, that we succeed in uniting the diversity of cultures and states of consciousness into a large, colorful and vibrant whole with mutual respect. The first and most important step on this path is communication with the goal of creating peace – a goal that requires courage, sincerity, prudent action and a firm resolve to love and forgiveness. Qualities which determine us as a human being. Qualities on which the progress of the world depends largely.

Christmas is celebrated after the longest night of the year. It celebrates the rebirth of light and represents a new beginning, hope and change. A well-known quote says:
“The purest form of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and still hoping that something will change.”

In addition to courage, it also takes inspiration to take new paths and build bridges – paths that create something new and good from the current challenges and tensions.

Music as a bridge

Music can be a source of inspiration and a bridge that connects people and cultures. The film “Joyeux Noël” tells a well-documented, true story from the times of war that is more than a hundred years old. It shows the power of music, communication, courage and prudent action.

A new beginning for 2025

Our mutual work contributes in a humble way to promoting music as an inspiring and unifying element. Through international collaboration within our network of customers, manufacturers and suppliers, we maintain peaceful and enriching relationships. We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for this.

Together with you, we were able to successfully overcome the challenges of the year 2024, and are looking forward now to the year 2025, when we will celebrate our 40th. anniversary. So, after a well-deserved Christmas rest, let's start a new, hopeful chapter.

We wish you and your families a Merry Christmas full of joy, relaxation and inspiration!

In the spirit of building bridges, I share a playlist created by a few audio friends and wish you a restful and peaceful time and a great 2025. May music unite and be the bridge despite differences on any level.

(Music of personal meaning from a group of audio friends. It is music that represents the diversity in our members and is based on songs with meaning that formed part of the backtrack of their respective lives. It is not music to show what systems are capable of or demo tracks; only music that is enjoyed and appreciated. Thank you for sharing, and I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.)
