DevonA I'm genuinely sorry, did not mean to ignore your post, for one or other reason I did not even see that this thread had flagged as response, blame it on age or just general dementia... Regarding your faceplate I am in the process of getting Selby's B77 back in working order, the item was...

Thank you Urs, very kind words. Your B77 creation is spectacular, who would have ever thought or known that the image I had posted on this thread was in fact your creation, I had honestly thought that it was a limited edition offer from Revox themselves..!! Your work is outstanding, I would...

FOSTEX E-16 1/2" Track Tape Recorder + Control Unit

Do some research on this deck and you will pick up almost immediately on some of the issues regarding electronics, mostly relays, of which there are a ton, and the LED vu meters go faulty, and it is not an easy repair, but I have seen repairs in this regard on one of the Reel to Reel facebook...

On HH NS1000's suggestion I have painted the headcover black.. This is just primer for now, I am out of finish paint.. The suggestion was good and thank you HH, I think it looks a ton better, once final paint is on I will consider my options regarding the Revox branding, not entirely sure what...

    Flat faced Revox B77 conversion

Ok so I am at the bitter end here, made the rear and top panel. I 'brought out' the AC inlet board and also the Audio connect board such that they lie reasonably flush with the rear panel. They are not screwed to the rear panel, still attached to the main chassis, machined some 71mm...

And in physical place.. I need to make a new red perspex screen as once again I made the opening 1mm wider than it should have been.. I might just change the buttons to black, don't yet know.. I need to fit and wire in the physical switches so all this prettiness becomes functional..
