Hi,
I have very similar room, about 7x3m , with concrete slab ceiling above which is my daughters room. I have found the concrete ceiling blocks most noise from intruding upstairs.
I would go UHD, you need to be future proof. In the next 2 years a lot is going to change regarding UHD content. With increased availability the prices of UHD blu rays will drop. You will look back and think why did I only get a FHD.
Thanks all , have tested again by unplugging the "booster" in lounge (Ellies). Then all is fine. the problem is I don't want to get out of bed , go to the lounge TV to change a channel in absence of the booster and eye setup. Any other suggestions?
Go walk around Game, they have lots of these dodgy systems for sale. Other than PMPO it gets worse with speakers that light up with red or green lights.
You can have rear surrounds mounted ceiling height, pointing 45 degrees towards the listening position with 2 atmos above the main listening position. You can always opt to use the rear surrounds as additional atmos at a later stage.
I have a LG OLED and Samsung UHD, the Samsung has a awful menu system when compared to LG. As far as picture is concerned, it is 50/50 and really takes a careful setup to get the best out of both.
Hi,
My son is looking for a turntable. I have passed him down a old Yamaha AS500 AMP with Polk Bookshelf speakers I no longer use. He is looking to spend about R8k, any suggestions. Maybe second hand will be the option to get something decent?
