Hi guys I have a Marantz NR1402 avr. Love this little avr. It started giving the no signal on my tv, which could fixed by either changing the input on the avr or taking out the hdmi cable and putting it back. Now it just display no signal on the tv. Tried new cable, with no luck.

I have the NR1402 running my Diamonds. My opinion, the 10.6's works well in front, and you won't need a sub. Welcome to come and have a listen.

I Have the same speaker setup, with the Marantz NR1402 (50wx5), room 4mx6m, And it sound's brilliant. With a bit of time, sorting out the settings, I  only use it at max half way. Bass sounds good, not over powering. Only added a sub for movies, sounded fine without, just needed the VERY low...

Could have bought the Obsidians from Wharfedale. Sounds quite good for home theatre.

The centre I have now is bigger than my plasma unit shelves. Then it was also said that one should try to keep the centre as close as possible to the front speaker's tweeter and mid: in my case the plasma unit is very low.

I have a 10 mx. Looking to upgrade. Will let you know as soon as it becomes available

I don't think that the sw150 is still availible. Was looking for one, and then bought the 10 mx. You might still get one on Gumtree or so.

Now that I have the new centre, any idea's on how to mount it above the tv on the wall? How would it influence the sound if I build a enclosure around it and mount that on the wall? The centre is rear ported, so should I leave gaps on the sides and top, and how much of a gap.

O K, so I have the 125RMS unit. A bit small for sub use, isn't it?

Thats true, but even when you set the filter to 80hz, deifferent speakers sounds different obviously....I want it to sound as much alike as possible. Even thought of buying two 10.1 bookshelves for centre. Just didnt know if there is some way to connect them to the centre channel.

A bit off the topic, I am running a mx10, still trying to find the right spot. Doesn't sound like it should.
