This sounds about right. Bought the TV for R2500, so don't want to spend too much on the stand.

I'm not explaining the problem well... Or maybe I just haven't seen the kind of AV stand you have in mind... The TV does not stand up on its own, that's why I need a stand for it - it has no stand of its own or feet or anything like that. It did not come with a stand at the time of sale...

Where can I buy a freestanding stand for a tv that weighs over 50 kg easy? It's not like I haven't Googled this... Couldn't find anything.

Cover Girl (1944) It had its moments, but felt way too long. I wouldn't recommend it. If this is your kind of film, try 'The Band Wagon' or 'An American in Paris'. Both are worth watching.

Trying to figure out the best way to get HDMI into my slightly outdated TV It has DVI-HDCP, RGB/COMPONENT, S VIDEO, and VIDEO. I need a plan for connecting HDMI from a PlayStation. Any idea which port I should use and which converter I should get?

I recently got a SONY FWD-50PX2 plasma TV. Only problem is it weighs a ton and has no stand. I can't wall mount it because I live in a very old house and the walls are extremely soft.  :wallbreak: I do have access to welding equipment, so a steel stand is an option, but I'd much prefer...
