    Moving/Storage service in Northriding/Fourways?

Hi guys... Can anyone of you recommend a moving service and a storage service in the area? Nothing to fancy and expensive.

    Power ratings?

I agree. All I'm interested in is that my amp can performed as claimed when playing music. I care less if the maximum can be sustained for longer than a few seconds if it would never need to.

    Power ratings?

I guess I understood what they meant when they said 'continuous' And I'm sure they didn't mean it literally, hence their budget was appropriate. Not offended at all, always keen to learn  :dop:

    Power ratings?

With that in mind, why would you need to sustain it for a long period of time? And would you not recommend the Rotel in question if someone asks for a 200w amp for 4-5k? Please give me an example of a 'proper' 200w amp in your opinion as I find this intriguing. I've experienced 90db speakers...

    Power ratings?

Thank you for the detailed explanation Ampdog, your knowledge is admirable! I wish I could say I understand it fully but I don't and for that reason can the Rotel amp in question provide the power that is claimed within a reasonable environment i.e average temperature, average ventialation...

    Power ratings?

it does  so as i thought you can indeed get an amp for that price that outputs 200w/ch 'continuously'

    Power ratings?

this is a comment from the wanted section of the classifieds, and i needed to bring this into discussion : "It is not possible to buy a proper 200w continues amp for that kind of money (R4-5k). Maybe one that can do it for a few seconds or so" my response was that a rotel 991 sells for around...

interesting points of view... have any of you actually needed to use your guns for self defense, basically have you ever shot someone? If you don't mind sharing.

Contentious I know, but I need to ask

The point is they are taking away choice by going the halaal route. Able bodied people still have a choice to use the stairs, they are not forced to use ramps etc. Looks like all the burger kings are halaal, as is the case here in JHB as well. Stay away from fast food altogether would be my...

    Paradigm Speakers

I would love to have a listen as I'm also rather intrigued by their lack of following here in SA considering their international appeal. I did however have a Paradigm Sub with I found rather 'boomy' for my liking with I then replaced with a B&W.

LA Weekly: Why CDs may actually sound better than vinyl

    Bad experience

There seems to be more overly sensitive older men on this forum than I expected. It's rather surprising. I agree with Mr Gold, if it's your item, sell it for as much as you want, irrespective of who you bought it from and what you paid for it.  :2c:

What do you guys think of Deezer?

I think Deezer is great! I use the premium version over 3 of my apple devices but I think you can only use one device at a time or something to that effect. The quality is as good as itunes if you use the high quality setting. The free version is only for PC's not mobile devices to my understanding.

    portable aircon.

To add to that, unless you have a dedicated venting hole, the window has to stay opened considerably to fit the venting pipe thus mosquitoes become an issue if you are prone to them in your area.

Thank you both for the lengthy responses. That's exactly what I'm looking for, more information. Need to make an educated decision.
